INTITIATIVES

ONE OFF TRAKS is a songwriting and production camp connecting women, trans, non-binary and gender-diverse creatives across Australia and Aotearoa. Led by Jannah Beth and Minori Ueda, with artist ambassador Jamaica Moana, the camp welcomes identities beyond Western gender terminology, including Fa’afafine, Fakaleiti, Takatāpui and Indigenous people whose gender identities align with this space.

What begins as strangers in a room becomes something else entirely: a web of voices, a circle of trust, a place where someone who walked in unsure walks out believing. Participants collaborate with leading artists, songwriters and producers. They write. They produce. They experiment. They try things in front of people who won’t judge them for it, creating music and connections that continue well beyond the camp.

Born from a conversation between four friends — Nazlican Eren, Carolina Gasolina, Minori Ueda and Jannah Beth — ONE OFF TRAKS was deliberately created for those whose voices have been turned down, talked over or left out of rooms where decisions get made.

Across five camps, ONE OFF TRAKS has received 800+ applications, brought together around 100 artists and supported the creation of approximately 260 songs and demos. From our home at Offbeat Collective on unceded Gadigal Land to our first Aotearoa camp at Bigpop Studios in Auckland, the community continues to grow. In 2026, we also presented six alumni artists at SXSW London, connecting their music with new audiences internationally.

ONE OFF TRAKS remains a community-led initiative of artist-run Offbeat Collective. Our 2026 program is supported by Creative Australia.
