Balancing melancholy and hope, ‘Payphones’ captures the emotional lane Future Shade inhabits: music for open roads, closing doors, and the quiet decision to keep moving toward connection, even without answers.
To celebrate the release of ‘Payphones’, Future Shade will launch the project live at The Vanguard, Sydney on 27 June, bringing their emotionally charged electronic world to the stage.
MALAIKA MFALME
Unfurling EP
LABEL
Unfurling is the chapter that comes after grief; after Yasmin, after loss, after learning how to breathe again. It’s me stepping back into life with tenderness and curiosity, learning what happens after the mourning has settled.
These songs sit in the space between healing and becoming; where friendship breakups still sting, but don’t undo me anymore. Where growth means allowing, forgiving, giving myself permission to try again.

SACHÉM
easier said than done EP
LABEL
After a three-year release hiatus, Jannah Beth returns with Orbits & Echoes, a seven-track EP that marks a turning point in her practice as a songwriter and collaborator.
Rather than a linear narrative, the project moves through repetition, return and accumulation. The songs circle familiar feelings from new angles, allowing ideas to echo, shift and settle over time.
RELEASED APRIL 2026
easier said than done explores the weight of generational trauma, the echoes of Sachém’s own father in himself, and the responsibility of passing strength down to his son.
Through bold storytelling and unfiltered emotion, Sachém confronts the past to build a better future, delivering an album that is as introspective as it is commanding. It acknowledges the resilience of his ancestors, honouring their stories while forging his own path.
